Senior Software Developer Level 1

As part of our technology team, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise software solutions while ensuring adherence to development standards, quality practices, and best-in-class engineering principles. What You'll Do Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services. Build scalable back-end solutions using either .NET or Java technologies. Collaborate with Technical Leads, Architects, QA Engineers, and fellow Developers to deliver quality solutions. Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, estimation, and sprint planning activities. Develop software according to team standards, coding best practices, and agreed specifications. Create and maintain technical documentation for software solutions. Conduct unit testing and support quality assurance initiatives to ensure software reliability. Review, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and production issues. Provide support and maintenance for existing applications and services. Monitor and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, development standards, and engineering practices. Collaborate with dependent teams to deliver integrated business solutions. Share knowledge, mentor junior developers, and contribute to team growth. Take ownership of software quality, performance, and maintainability. What We're Looking For 5+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments. Relevant Degree, Diploma, or Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong back-end development experience using either .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) or Java (Spring Boot, Java EE, Spring Framework) . Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and methodologies. Experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles. Experience working with relational databases and SQL. Exposure to RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern application architectures. Experience working in Agile development environments. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage priorities and work effectively under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
