Accounts Administrator / Junior Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities Job Description: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing Customer and supplier invoicing Bank, creditor, debtor, and balance sheet reconciliations Stock-related accounting and reconciliations Month-end processing and support Assisting with multiple entities within the group Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting processes Identifying and resolving discrepancies and accounting issues General financial administration and reporting The ideal candidate is: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field SAIPA articles would be highly advantageous Relevant accounting experience, either in an accounting firm or industry environment Experience working with multiple entities is advantageous Experience using Xero and/or Accounting ERP systems Strong understanding of accounting principles Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong administrative and organisational skills Solid Microsoft Excel skills, including: Lookups Pivot tables Formula creation and maintenance Experience with reconciliations and transactional processing Payroll experience would be an added advantage Qualification: Matric Degree or tertiary qualification in accounting or finance Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our financial recruitment vacancies.
