Full Stack Developer (Senior) - Java & Angular

Introduction A leading global technology environment is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Senior) – Java & Angular to join its software engineering team. The successful candidate will work on a modern technology platform focused on providing transparency and visibility across vehicle stock and fleet processes, while supporting workflow automation, process orchestration and improved operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior developer who enjoys working with modern Java, Angular, microservices, cloud technologies and containerised environments within a global Agile technology landscape. Duties & Responsibilities Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise applications and platforms. Design and implement scalable microservice-based applications. Design, develop and consume RESTful APIs. Develop modern front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and responsive CSS. Develop back-end services using Java 21+ and Quarkus 3+. Work with MongoDB / NoSQL databases. Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. Perform unit and automated testing and resolve software defects. Support deployment activities and production releases. Provide third-level technical support for production incidents when required. Prepare technical and system documentation in accordance with required standards. Present proposed technical solutions to Product Owners, Leaders and System Owners. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. Coach and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate developers where required. Desired Experience & Qualification Candidates must have: 8–10+ years' software development experience in relevant programming environments. Strong Java 21+ development experience. Strong Angular 18+ experience. Quarkus 3+ experience. Maven. JUnit and Mockito. Kafka / event-driven technologies. MongoDB / NoSQL. JavaScript / TypeScript. HTML and responsive CSS. Jest. Docker and Kubernetes. AWS Cloud experience. Strong Git / version control practices. Proven experience designing and implementing microservice architectures. Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
