Reference: SW006520-CL-1 OPERATIONS & BOOKKEEPING ADMINISTRATOR Cape Town – Northern Suburbs: Our client, an award-winning dealership within the motor industry, is seeking a well-organised and detail-oriented Operations & Bookkeeping Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will provide bookkeeping, administrative and operational support, while assisting with client applications, vehicle-related administration and day-to-day customer queries. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration using Xero Providing general administrative and operational support to the team Communicating with clients throughout the application process and assisting with required documentation Following up on outstanding information and application progress Handling customer queries and directing these to the relevant team members Coordinating vehicle-related administration, including licence renewals and traffic fine management Assisting clients with accident claims by coordinating the process and providing regular updates Liaising with service providers, suppliers and insurers as required Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all documentation is current and well organised Assisting with general operational tasks and supporting the team as required Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, operations or a similar role Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration qualification advantageous Xero experience advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Valid South African driver's licence Professional, reliable, motivated and positive attitude The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, organised individual who enjoys a varied role combining bookkeeping, administration, customer service and operational support. They must be comfortable taking ownership of tasks, following through on outstanding matters and ensuring that both clients and the internal team receive efficient and professional support.
