We recruit on experience but promote on values — the core of which is rigor, disciplined thought and disciplined Description: The Banqueting Administrator is responsible for the administrative, financial and operational coordination of the Banqueting Department, supporting the planning and execution of conferences, events and banqueting functions. You will also: maintain accurate function sheets, event documentation and booking records, process billing, invoicing, reconciliations and revenue tracking, manage data across Protel and CRM systems, and liaise with Banqueting Managers, Coordinators, Sales, Finance and Operations to support seamless event execution. Minimum Requirements: Matric Hospitality, Business Administration or Events qualification advantageous Previous experience in hotel or banqueting administration preferred Strong administrative and financial administration skills (invoicing, reconciliations, billing) Experience with Protel, CRM platforms or similar hotel/reporting systems advantageous Good Excel and Word skills Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently Effective communication with members of staff as well as Guests of the Hotel Honest and trustworthy beyond approach Great attention to detail Presentable and well spoken Team Player who leads by example Proactive in approach Interpersonal skills Leadership skills Please note that relocation costs will be for your own expense should your application be successful and you reside outside of the city where the Hotel is located.
