Technical Electrical Sales Representative

Introduction Our client is seeking a dynamic and driven Technical Electrical Sales Representative to join their growing team in Durban. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong technical background and a passion for building client relationships within the electrical and industrial sectors. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients Conduct customer visits and technical consultations Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals Provide product selection assistance and technical support Achieve monthly and annual sales targets Monitor market trends and competitor activity Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements Minimum 2-3 years' experience in external/technical B2B sales Proven experience within the electrical, industrial automation, switchgear, motors, or VSD industry Strong understanding of technical electrical products and applications Excellent communication and negotiation skills Valid driver's licence and own vehicle Technical qualification, diploma, or trade background will be advantageous Key Competencies Business Development Technical Product Knowledge Relationship Management Negotiation & Closing Skills Customer Service Excellence Sales Target Achievement
