Our client is looking for an Automation Developer to join their growing technology team and play a key role in driving digital transformation across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building intelligent automation solutions, integrating systems, and working with modern technologies to improve business processes and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimise automated business processes using low-code platforms such as Nintex K2, n8n, and Microsoft Power Automate.Develop and customise user interfaces using HTML and CSS.Build workflow logic using JavaScript and backend automation using Python.Integrate business systems through RESTful APIs, webhooks, and OAuth authentication.Work with JSON, XML, and CSV data formats, with basic SQL/database interaction.Use Git for version control and support CI/CD deployment processes.Analyse existing business processes to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable automation solutions.Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve automation workflows.Implement, monitor, and enhance AI-driven automation solutions.Provide ongoing support, testing, updates, and maintenance for automation platforms.Requirements 1–3 years' experience developing automation solutions using low-code platforms.Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.Experience with one or more automation platforms such as Nintex K2, n8n, or Microsoft Power Automate.Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, HTML, and CSS.Experience integrating applications using RESTful APIs, OAuth, and webhooks.Understanding of JSON, XML, CSV, and basic SQL/database concepts.Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Must be based in Johannesburg or willing to work on-site.What's on Offer The opportunity to work on impactful digital transformation initiatives.Exposure to modern automation platforms and AI technologies.A collaborative, innovative, and technology-driven environment.Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.If you're passionate about automation and enjoy solving complex business challenges with innovative technology, we'd love to hear from you.
